Hi Janos,
I've just come back from my holidays. I realized that you issued a stream of very interesting photos that I had no time to see them carefully..I'll do it shortly..Sometimes I have the impression that trying to link your photo through symbolism with highly sophisticated and complex fields,as opera for example, you seem to subconciously "underate" or better dry
them out of their esthetic content which- in their majority- also impresses me..My view..Of course I may be wrong, or I try to see them at least 80% from their photographic quality. My approach has always been to let first the photo speak itself and give you elements and facts for further thought and not first the artist create puzzling enigmas..You see, I've thought a bit more on your photos because I like them quite a lot. Let me have your opinion on the matter..
have a nice time alexander
Dear friend , it's not about who I am as a photographer. I know who I am. What is important is that someone from fotocommunity got published, it's about learning from other to a degree. It's about sharing with a group of friends and all learning how to get along as people that own a camera. I have not stopped learning , and will never stop because life keeps changing. When the old masters stopped they simply died and out if respect got honored. Photography is like our daily breath one at a time to fuel new thoughts. Cheers and remember that what people think about you good or bad is nothing. What matters is that we all learn to grow behind a camera , journal to each other, and stop trying to be technical about each others work. What we need to do is try to learn how to open up and share what is important in life as people. Just maybe from sharing something that reflects human qualities, we will learn how to express the concerns of life around us. Humanity needs direction. As one race the good of one becomes the good of all and breeds inspiration and hope. May we all tell the stories from our heart as photographers within the fotocommunity and become what other communities online have not begun to understand. Glenn Capers. Ps. to begin , become friends and journal from the soul and share what your concerns with your camera.
Janos.
Thanks for your interesting comment. This building is classic I. M. Pei. The shadow, as you can see, cooperated quite well. Good to hear you are concentating on non-building photography--more ways to express creativity!
Best,
Steve
Thank you Janos for your kind comments regarding my photo, please keep checking out my photos as I put up more. I too am just an amateur shutterbug who can only dream off having my work exhibited... who knows!
