Thanks Andy for the comments on my Golden Hills capture! I'm glad to get your feedback on the road in the capture! I guess I could have left out the road but I think the shot wouldn't have been as dynamic because the wildflowers would have been left out. Also, I liked the line and texture of the dirt road. I felt at the time that the perspective of the road seems to draw your eye into the hills. Also, I have a preoccupation with rural roads that seem to go on forever, but lead to nothing but more untouched wilderness! But I know how it is when a capture either hits you or it just misses the mark!
Yes, Andy, you are right.The medium format is exceptional, but the camera is exceptionally heavy too!..It's a real headache carrying it unless you want to cover a specific subject. I got neck and lumbar slip discs from it! So I doubt if it's really worthy.. Thanks for your attention and comments.
