Oregon-grape

At this time of the year the bright yellow flowers of the Oregon-grape can be admired.

It’s an evergreen shrub native to the North American west coast and is getting more and more popular in European gardens.

Dutch name : Mahoniestruik
German name : Gewöhnliche Mahonie (auch Stechdornblättrige Mahonie genannt)
Latin name : Mahonia aquifolium

Die gelben Blüten leuchten schön. Mir gefällt, dass Du die Mahonie nicht in die Bildmitte gesetzt hast.

Very nice, how bright the yellow flowers shine in the sun light.
Because of the dark background, the brightness comes out even better.
