Mandraki the capital town. The pier. East end.
The photo shows the east end of the pier in Mandraki from where the stone footpath starts leading up to the castle and the old monastery of Panayia( Holy Mother) Spiliani built on the rock where the Holy Icon is kept. The waves splash eternaly on its external barrier and the houses, on the far end, look like shipdecks waiting for their captain....

This is not fair! You take these wonderful pictures and I have to go around the Frankfurter Airport and take photos of little towns nearby with 35 Grad outside ... OK, I now use the fc-beamer and then I will take a bath in the deep blue sea! Wow, this is good!
