A Grip of Faith

Hes is a strong man. His bond with religion is connected to daily life, family and parents, and life that is lost. HIs faith even extends into his hard work and the belief that if he comes to pray his life will be a little bit easier. The pain will be lighter, and he and others will see him as a good man. HIs pray completed he tries to place his candle in the candle holder. HIs cancel is a little over size, a bit to think. If he pushes to hard his cancel with crack and break apart. Symbolic of his prayers being to selfish. The prayers might be heard. In his desperate attempt he is focused, his grip is firmly on the candle he tries to make his cancel fit. IN the end as if magic his candle conforms from his will. the hit heat from the surrounding lit candles as if an invisible moment of a miracle allows his prays fit in the candle holder and burn and grace his personal burden as only God can when so much hope is inquest of a sign to his grip on within his act of faith.

Together with his pray and humble demand from God,the candle is also a message from him to a lost and beloved soul with which his earthly presence remains connected for consolation and courage....

A well captured image Glenn. I still like the light coming in through the window. As if Holy Spirit's presence is entering the church to answer the prayer or bring comfort.

Touching image expressing the emotional atmosphere
surrounding him. The way he presses the candle in the holder,
the shine of light through the window the glow of the other
candles...wonderful summarization of visual impacts brought
into the frame! great regards Berthold Klammer
