A Park Bench in Autumn
While exploring Hamburg’s lovely Planten un Blomen park, I stopped to sit down and re-load a camera.
Then I noticed the message someone had written on the bench...and the fortuitously positioned autumn leaf.
I must confess, I was hoping it was a passionate poem to one’s beloved or a lyrical Ode to an Autumn Afternoon.
Turns out it was something a bit more “prosaic.” (Thank you, Sabine.)
But the image does remind me of a lovely afternoon in Hamburg in my favorite season.

: ))))))) well never mind, steve! i think the two leaves that landed on the bench – one big, the other small (and as yet uneducated ?; ))!) – go very well with it! and it's a beautiful autumn picture! greetings, sabine.
