A Rice Bowl of Sunken Rupees

The Blind might not see you. You begin to see them, and eventually discover you see them at many events or common places where the highest volume of foot traffic will happen at different times of the day. They travel the tourist routes because they are the most lucrative. They see with the knowledge of being there time after time. They are the blind Fishermen of the streets. This is how they survive day after day.

The surroundings may be abject squalor, and yet this man still loses himslef in the rhythm of his song in the hope of 'earning' himself some money with which to support himself and perhaps a family.
So much for human kindness and a caring society....

    :))

    Cordial.

    Poor Little Rich India.
The caste system is a relic of a bygone era lengthens - one would think, but it is still continuing almost unchanged.
One can only hope that this man / these people know at least a day a little help and support from their fellow human beings. The state does surely nothing!
The photo is touching and makes sad!
