Admiral Von Tromp
I have not been visiting FC very often in recent months, however I have a new camera and a new zest for my photography therefor I plan to contribute a lot more from now on.
I have just returned from a weekend spent photographing the North East coast of England, and this shot was taken at Saltwick Bay near Whitby.
The image shows the wreck of the Admiral Von Tromp which was a Scarborough based trawler which ran aground in mysterious circumstances on 30th September 1976 resulting in the loss of two lives.
The rock in the background framed by the wreck is known as the Black Nab.
A very atmospheric place that I WILL return to soon...

phantastic shot. I like the depth of the picture, the smothly reduced colors, how you put the wreck in the image format. the different structures look very authentic and the mood of the old wreck and the cloudy sky is transported very well. like it very much.greetz, Mel
