S h o e s ..... Argentinian Costumes???

I have seen shoes draped over telephone wires in other cities, including Vancouver. This is taken in LA BOCA, the now touristy area of Buenos Aires where the Itlians settled in corrugated iron houses.

: ))))) looks pretty adventurous to me – both the shoes and the wires! but at least someone had the decency to hurl up a pair of blue sneakers to match the patriotic blue of the shop below ; ))! over here you'd have to bury your shoes to make your point: underground phone cables ; ))! great funny bueons-aires impression! hugs, sabine.

oh... that's indeed unusual... but I suppose in Vancouver the telefon/electric wires are not so chaotic
