roasted sweet chestnuts – YUM!! not sure about roasting horse chestnuts, though ; ) – not possible, i think! but you captured them so very dynamically here, as though in the very midst of popping open and exposing their fresh, gleaming fruit for us! beautifully done, jenipher! greetings, sabine.

what a beautiful nut this is with its rich red-brown colour and the light reflecting on it .... a fine close and sharp capture - and having my whole street lined by horse-chestnuts trees, I don't appreciate them enough having to constantly sweep the sidewalk. I think only the eating chestnuts taste good roasted :-))
