: )))))))) oh, i'm sorry! i'm sure it's just me, but i can't help but see (and hear!!) a pockmarked old tree, gesturing dramatically with its arms/branches and performing a droll little song for us, with its jovial bear-paw-shaped mouth wide open. i'm imagining its dark "gnarled" voice, and that's why i'm smiling! like this picture very much!!! lg, sabine. p.s.: i'm aware that i'm probably misinterpreting here, and that the song i hear is probably nothing but a shriek in pain from its decapitation… yet, i will keep seeing the song ; ))…

A remarkable link between the title and what I see. The tension is the result of the interaction between the negative form - here the hole in a tree trunk and a missing form - and the positive forms surrounding. To enhance this - perhaps you can darken the bright part of the background on the right low side behind the tree a bit... eventhough good work! best regards Berthold
