Father & son

I need to spend more time taking pictures of people instead of just photographing objects and places. Objects are easier to work with though :-). I guess that's why I hesitate bringing up the camera among people. I guess it's more about me getting learning to overcome an manage the extra "tension" then about people getting used to being photographed though.

This picture of two relatives was taken this summer with a Nikon D300, 18-200 mm and processed with Capture NX2, using Color Efex to adjust the center/edge lighting and adding a vignette. I have been reduced the Capture NX level of output sharpening this time from 25/3/2 to 12/2/2 this time.

The busy background with the folio may not have been the best one but that's were they were when I saw the opportunity to take the picture.

It's quite nice catch. In my opinion they should both look somwhere above camera. That would connect them (i think :) ) Nice light, fine bokeh, i like it but something is missing, however it's good portrait.

taking pictures of people is very difficult ...but it could be a challenge for us .. :-)
