Happiness is a Fountain in Hoboken

A family enjoys the cooling spray of Hoboken's Pier A Fountain,
glistening in the inviting sunshine of a June afternoon...

The view is toward Sinatra Drive's intersection with 1st Street, and the
building seen beyond the fountain is the Main Station Post Office.

Pier A Park (*) is just to the north and across an inlet from the imposing Hoboken Terminal.(**)
It juts out into the Hudson River to provide wonderful views of the Manhattan skyline.

I shot this on a carefree afternoon in 2017 on my first visit to Hoboken. It makes its first
appearance tonight...at a time when I don't suppose it hurts to be reminded of carefree days...
