The Good Life

While the current "social distancing" and isolation has somewhat inhibited much new photography,
it has certainly provided the chance to re-live some favorite travel experiences over the years, including
re-addressing some film images in terms of better scanning/editing. May I share one such "filmic" memory...

An attractive couple and a classic automobile...
Elegance...both human and automotive...

This Mercedes 300 SL Gull-Wing caught my eye on a Winter day in 2008 in Frankfurt's Opernplatz.

The couple were more than happy to pose for the admiring photographer.

The moment was captured on Ektachrome EL-400 slide film
in a Canon EOS-1 through a Tokina 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 lens.

The title was inspired by Tony Bennett's great recording from the 1960s.
