Just around the corner...
...Hallowe'en, that is!
But today happens also to be National Cat Day in the U.S.
A fellow cat-loving friend had to remind me. I always seem to miss these special
Cat-Occasions, simply because, here at Chateau Wookie (*), EVERY day is National Cat Day.
So, with Halloween just around the corner - and the fact that National Cat Day was founded as a
way to bring awareness to the number of homeless cats - I offer you this photo, which I took last
year at a shelter as I began the search for a new little sidekick after losing my dear Mewer.(**)
