    I like the photo for its way of telling a truth. I adore the comments for going beyond the usual short adoration. And I have to confess I have just fallen in love with the title, such a beautiful way to express what must be a dearly kept emotion. Congrats!

    I agree with Oliver, they are all over, although maybe not quite so drab.
    Great sky and contrast.

    @Ionut & Oliver, well actually my mood was not reflected exactly by this view from my window and particulary these buildings... The sky that day was really interesting and i didn't miss the chance to shoot it... and i just gave the look of my mood through that picture, i hope i made it clear enough to understand :)

    @Ionut, welcome to u too ;)

    @Svetla, hehe world is small isn't it :)

    thank you for your toughts

    My grandmother lives in that tall building

    The picture... I don't find it dull and dark. I would say that it is simply beautiful =]

    Dull and dark, not beautiful. But full of an own mood and well captured.
    Typically for ex communist countries? I don't think so, you can find such blocks in most bigger cities, maybe a little bit more coloured but not really better...
    cheers, Olli

    impressive photo. It so much represents the former communist countries. It's like all the big cities in these countries were built by the same insane architect. And it will take another hundred years of democracy to change not only this way of living (in this ugly blocks of flats), but the mutilated souls and minds of the ones who had the misfortune to live under communism.
    btw, wellcome to the EU ;)
    best wishes,
