I enjoy the tonal qualities of the b&w a lot. I never know when to try b&w or stay in color. This is something I still need to learn. I'm glad to see that you were able to find the right photo for the b&w and capture the soul of the subject. That is more what b&w is about....at least this is my opinion. I look forward to more b&w photos to study and hopefully learn from. Thanks for posting this photo.Cheers from Germany
