Xanthi. A city in Thrace (North Greece).
Number 6, is a beautiful but very old and abandoned house in the old town.
The old lady is the owner of the house but long ago she left it and now stays at her doughters in the modern section of the city also enjoying the company of her grandchildren.But,quite often in the evenings, she comes and sits outside the front door enjoying past memories of her life when the house was solid and thriving with souls and noises....

It is sad that this beautiful old house has sadly fallen into decay, and so touching that the old lady comes to sit and remember past times. You have captured this scene so well Alexander.

A sad tale......it seems such a shame when people such as this Lady have to leave the home they have known and loved for most of their lives and go to relatives, leaving the beautiful old home to go to ruins.
Sad for both and your picture encompasses that story very well.
