Dieses Muster ist ein echter Hingucker! Eine Farbexplosion, die funktioniert, obwohl niemand weiß warum. Ich würde diese Fliege normalerweise nicht in der Schachtel haben aber die war vorgeschrieben bei einem Bindewettbewerb. Das Muster imitiert scheinbar nix, was in der Natur vorkommt hat aber den Vorteil, daß man die Fliege sogar in turbulentem Wasser gut sieht.

This pattern is a real tart! A gawdy pattern that works although nobody knows why. I wouldn’t normally have this in my box but it was a set pattern in a fly tying competition, so I had to bite the bullet. It doesn’t seem to us an imitation of anything in nature but a big advantage is that this pattern is very easy to see on the surface, even in rough water.
