Saucer Magnolia
Saucer Magnolia is a large shrub or small deciduous tree that blooms profusely in early spring with showy flowers before the leaf buds open.
Fossilised specimens of this species were found in Asia dating back 20 million years ago !

Latin name : Magnoliaceae soulangeana
