Spot on Cockleroy (Panorama)

The previous picture shows only a small part of the vast landscape of West Lothian. Only when you look at the panorama from the same place do you get a feeling for this vastness. I only had the 18-105 lens with me on my first full day (09/12/2022) of this trip to Scotland and I was mesmerized by the tall trees on the left side of the image. The wood on the right hand side belongs to the Beecraigs Country Park. When the sun broke through the fast-moving clouds and illuminated Cockleroy Hill, I had to take these pictures.
Unfortunately, the details are somewhat lost in the FC display.

Spotlicht auf Cockleroy Hill

Das vorige Bild zeigt nur einen kleinen Ausschnitt der weitläufigen Landschaft West Lothians. Erst beim Betrachten des Panoramas vom selben Ort bekommt man ein Gefühl für diese Weite. Ich hatte an meinem ersten vollen Tag (12.09.2022) dieser Reise nach Schottland nur das 18 - 105er Objektiv dabei und die hohen Bäume auf der linken Seite des Bildes faszinierten mich. Der Wald auf der rechten Bildseite gehört zum Beecraigs Country Park. Als dann auch noch die Sonne zwischen den schnell ziehenden Wolken hindurch brach und den Cockleroy Hill beleuchtete, musste ich unbedingt diese Aufnahmen machen. In der FC-Darstellung gehen leider die Details etwas unter.
