    when i saw the thumb, i thought it looked like a tunnel – however, that tunnel-like feel to it disappeared when i clicked on the picture. but the gleaming wetness of the cobblestones and their "rhythmic structure" still looks great. they remind me of that classic old movie with joseph cotten and orson welles – "the third man" – taking place in post-war vienna, where a lot of running and following, gathering and trailing is being done on this kind of pavement ; ))… greetings, sabine.
