Weeeeeeeeee by The Merry-Go-Round

Sunday in the country side as in St. Maries de la Mer which is definitely outside of Paris. Families gather and enjoy good simple fun, Like this young boy on his skate board about to run into me out of control head on.

Oh a shot I thought, and a shot it was. We both did some advance yoga twist and missed each other. I didn't know I had the moves after driving six hours in a car.

I checked in the hotel took an took a nap. I had visions of the merry -go-round activity with it's lights on in the late evening with people about.

Did I say the French out side of Paris in the country side all disappear come dinner time, and don't come out afterwards. Well that is Sunday in the countryside No one seems to linger out doors to get that last minute memory to hold on to. Its all done in the sun light. Work in the morning is already cued up in their minds. Clothes to be press, kids to be put on the school bus in the morning if needed.

The place was a ghost town, and the restaurants close early too. As you wonder about looking for something to eat you discover no need to be picky about what you eat. The menus are all the same, and then pictures of foods on the menu, they don't have. It is just a picture to say they have squid and potatoes.

St. Maries de la Mer France is a wonderful place. It is where you are also suppose to see white horses running in the water. The tourist info center explain that the horses are for trail riding, and to see other you must be the media or the workshop has paid a stable to run their horses in the water. The water is about 4 inches to one foot deep. Thank god for for the kid on the skate board. This was my highlight, and the pink flamingoes only accessible if you had a 600mm f 4 lens. :)

Yes, any public walkway is a obstacle course these days with the skateboarders and people walking with their attention on their cell phones. Glad you got one shot you liked.
    Regards,

Interesting merry-go -round, never seen one with a second deck before. Good chance shot with the boy on the skate board.
