Well composed, harmonious counterposition of colours (don't y'all get sick of the same old warm, hypersaturated colours that may flower and landscape pictures here use, ad nauseam?), what more could one whish for?
Exactly Esther, take your pictures anytime you wish.
No text book can change nature.
You cannot sit for eight hours, soos n pada en wag tot die son onder gaan.
Dis n klomp twak.
Waar is my kamera???
@Wovo:
Correct, wrong day and time but you can't have it all! But anyway, thanks for all the tips! I will use them in the future. But sometimes you see something and you can't change the time, wind, sun etc. and this flower is at it's end so the colors are less beautifull then it used to be.
Thanks, regards, Esther
@ all, thanks for your nice comments!
Hello Esther,
I can't agree to most comments here (they are nice and kind, but, I think, not very helpful).
You made everything right with the pic -but
I think, you've taken the photo of this wonderful flower on the wrong time on the day or under cloudy wheather conditions.
To get the full scale of colours of the flower, take the early light of the day - or the late light in the evenig, when sun is still very low and brings additional colour and a special lightening to the pic.
Or - under bad weathercondition you can also take wounderful pic's of flowers - when the flower shows raindrops on it , what gives also a special effect.
Partly the leaves of this flower hardly has colour at all - is just "white" - which should be avoided.
