I like the way you have composed this picture. Everything seems to be well balanced. Though I would meaby choose to do one more step to the left side. which could prevent the slight touch of those two dominant trees and also the rest of the lake waterside would not be hidden behind the left tree. ;-) This would create nice eye leading line at the back and increase the depth of this picture even more.
IMHO I am not a big fan of this kind of tonality, so I am not sure with my vote. ;-)
Cheers, R.

Im not sure what you meant by the 'moment' on the bench, whether there was a moment you or someone else experienced earlier on the bench? If the bench was to be the focus of the picture then I feel that it is too far off to capture that, and is almost just an element of the background at this distance. I do like the grass in the foreground, details and tone as you said, but feel that more could have been given to it rather than the jumble of branches that really hold no shape, pattern or purpose for me when viewing. Maybe a deeper composition with more of the grass etc, or even a landscape composition closer to the rough bark and bench. But as said many times before, 'a matter of taste." :)
Thanks for the reply and quickmessges Gerry and good luck with the votes.

Not Gallery, sorry - composition is lacking, tones are disturbing, and image appears tilted...

I think it's a vey good picture, well composed and good toning, but as it comes to galery a picture needs something more, I feel very sorry Gerry but in this case I have to vote contra, hope I can vote pro in the (near) future.
